We started the day with a playdate at the park with some friends. We ended up staying there for two and a half hours so by the time we got home and ate lunch, we had a much shorter school day than planned. We will have some make up work to do this weekend but we got through some fun things and some important things today.

The highlight of the day for me was this morning when I was cuddling in bed with Munchkin before we started our day and I asked him what he was looking forward to most about today...his response, "School...and working in my Science Journal!"
