| After reading about how the first travelers traveled, we worked on making a coracle (to the right of the light saber) and Munchkin is working on a pipe cleaner person to place inside |

| Finished coracle in our bathtub of water (we would have played with this outside but the gardeners were cutting the grass during this school time)...definitely not my best work (if there is a next time, I will make sure this is a project the boys do with him) |

| After reading about rainbows, we went outside with our prism to see the "rainbows" on our paper (Ditto enjoyed this so much he spent about 15 minutes exploring what the "rainbows" looked like on different surfaces) |

| For lunch, I tried to incorporate food from some of the things we read and learned about today |

| So we had a fruit rainbow... |

| And from chapter 6 of The Boxcar Children, we had chocolate chip cookies, cups of milk and ham and pickles on homemade whole wheat bread (if I had to do it again - after reading the chapter - I would have done Trader Joe's Salami and slices of homemade wheat bread...and milk and cookies) |
